Introduction

This website presents a wide range of data for Doncaster’s communities. These resources are intended to help in defining the needs of communities and to support work to tackle inequalities within the Borough.

There are three separate sections to the database:

All the data currently available at community level are presented in graph, table and map formats and a flexible graphing tool allows on-line analysis of the data.
There is a profile for each of the 88 communities in Doncaster, collecting together a wide range of health and socio-economic indicators for each community.
The report summarises the policy context of national and local initiatives driving action against inequalities, gives examples of the data published on this web site, and identifies key challenges in using and developing the information to improve health and tackle inequalities in Doncaster.
